When I was learning how to HAC I made a plethora of mistakes. Some of them took me years to figure out so I thought I would help you guys skip to the chase in case anyone was missing some of the same things I was!
What I used:
Contour Do’s:
IIID Foundation in Walnut
Alternative option: NYX Blush in Taupe
NYX Eye Pencil in Taupe
Contour Don’ts:
Bare Minerals in Warmth (unless you are really warm and tan to begin with) or anything that isn’t a grayish brown
Highlight Do’s:
IIID Foundation in Sunlit
Alternate option Clinique Even Better Concealer in Buttermilk or Jane Irridale Lemon primer
Highlight Don’ts:
Anything too fair or cool toned.
Illuminator:
IIID Pretty in pearl
