“Be still,
Stillness reveals the secrets of eternity” ― Laotzu
AMLY founder Kerry’s experience as a Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist inspires the way we work with the land, and every step of the AMLY process. Craniosacral therapy is a subtle therapy which uses the power of gentle, light touch to support the body’s innate ability to balance, restore and heal itself. Using non-doing relational touch, one without fixed agendas, the therapist ‘listens with hands’ to the body in a similar way to how a counsellor might listen to words. When the body is heard, it responds by beginning to listen to itself, and its coherent rhythms and order can emerge.
Biodynamic Craniosacral therapist Steve Haines writes: “The Taoist notion of order in the world as the ‘way’ of least resistance is deeply useful. Manifesting health can appear as elegance and non-striving in our interactions, coupled with a sense of letting go from within.”
By dwelling in stillness we can witness the gentle elegance of the land in its natural state. Our AMLY range emerges from a delicate and intentional practice of deep listening, a response to the living land itself. We instil and apply sensitivity and respect to everything that’s involved in the making of our award-winning natural beauty line: from the plants to the people; the botanical alchemy, to our low impact packaging, in the knowledge that one part is only truly effective within the whole.
Our AMLY rituals are infused with Kerry’s working practice and an invitation for you to enter a moment of stillness during your day. Holding your face with an intentionally light touch when you’re using our bio-essence range, taking a moment to pause and breathe as you spray our AMLY mist, calms the nervous system and allows space for the body to enter a state of rest from which healing can emerge. Every drop of AMLY that reaches your skin contains an essence of the same stillness that rose from the land when we paused, listened deeply and let the land speak.
